Windmills Get Off the Mark

In the late game at Ashfield Sports Club, Morley opened their account with a 2-1 win over North Perth United. It was North Perth who drew first blood with Plackett scoring midway through the first half. Morley levelled early in the second half with Travis Taylor scoring on debut for the club, then only 7 minutes later Taylor added his second to make it a dream debut.

Morley coach Dan Evans had this to say. "It was a pleasing result against a competitive North Perth side. The boys worked hard and were up for the contest throughout, but we have a long way to go, but considering we started with zero players in November, the group has come a long way."

Morley's next competitive action comes in the last Night Series group stage game, taking on Maccabi SC at Ashfield Sports Club. Taking place 24/3/24 with another 7pm kick off.
